JH WINDS ARE NO MATCH FOR JH VIKES

Midway's Junior High football Vikings pushed their season record to 4-1 with a 35-0 whitewashing of the Archie Junior High Whirlwinds. The game was played at Archie on Monday, October 12.

The JH Vikes led the JH Winds 21-0 at the end of the first quarter. Midway put all of their points on the scoreboard in the first half.

Bobby Zielinski scored three touchdowns. Bobby's first touchdown was on a 70 yard run. His second touchdown was on a 67 yard punt return, and Bobby's final touchdown was on a 50 yard run.

Peyton Semsch scored on a 2 yard touchdown run. Peyton ran in a two-point conversion, and he kicked three extra points. Peyton also tossed a touchdown pass to Shane White.

The JH Vikings will host Adrian in their 2009 season finale on Monday, October 19. Kickoff is set for 5:30 PM.
