Midway's junior high and JV football teams wrapped-up their 2009 seasons on Monday, October 19. The JH Vikes and JV Vikings each played host to their Adrian counterparts.
In the junior high game, Midway prevailed 20-14. Bobby Zielinski scored all of Midway's points. Bobby scored touchdowns on a long run, on a pass play from Peyton Semsch, and on a kickoff return. Bobby also scored on a two-point conversion run.
Adrian won the JV game 6-0 on a touchdown pass with less than thirty seconds to play in the game.
The JH Vikes finished their season 5-1. The JV Vikes finished their season 2-3. |
