LADY VIKES ROCK LADY RAMS

Tuesday, October 20, Cass Midway's JV and varsity volleyball teams made quick work of their matches with the Hogan Prep Lady Rams.

Midway defeated Hogan Prep 25-8 and 25-10 in the varsity match.

Shannon Carver had 9 kills and ½ block. Teresa Zielinski had 8 kills. Hannah Mills had 4 kills and ½ block. Katie Chouinard had 3 kills, and Jennifer Gorsage had 2 kills. Janae Semsch, Tesa Renner, and Madison Turner each had 1 kill.

Tesa Renner served 4 aces vs. the Lady Rams. Teresa Zielinski served 3 aces, and Katie Chouinard served 2 aces. Shannon Carver and Madison Turner each served 1 ace.

Katie Chouinard made 3 digs. Teresa Zielinski and Madison Turner each made 1 dig.

Tesa Renner had 5 assists. Katie Chouinard and Madison Turner each had 2 assists. Teresa Zielinski and Shannon Carver had 1 assist apiece.

Midway defeated Hogan Prep 25-8 and 25-14 in the JV match.

Kathleen Yoakum had 4 kills and Paige Kurzweil had 2 kills. The JV Lady Vikes got 1 kill each from Taylor Buck, Maddie Driggs, and Callie Mincks.

Gabby Smith served 6 aces. Cathleen DeRemer served 3 aces and Kathleen Yoakum served 2 aces. Paige Kurzweil, Shelby Admire, Jeanlouise Chrisman, and Callie Mincks each served 1 ace.

Jeanlouise Chrisman made 2 digs, and Gabby Smith made 1 dig.

Shelby Admire had 3 assists. Jeanlouise Chrisman had 2 assists. Kathleen Yoakum, Taylor Buck and Maddie Driggs each had 1 assist.

The JV and varsity Lady Vikes conclude the regular season with a home match this against Pembroke Hill on Thursday, October 22. This will be the final home match for seniors Callie Mincks, Shannon Carver, Teresa Zielinski, Katie Chouinard, and Janae Semsch.
